THE INSTITUTIONS AT MUTHOLATH NAGAR, CHERPUNKAL
The following are the institutions at Mutholath Nagar, Cherpunkal. The Nagar is located at Cherpunkal on the highway side of Ettumanoor Pala road. These institutions are donated by Fr. Abraham Mutholath and owned and operated by Kottayam Social Service Society (KSSS) of the Archeparchy of Kottayam. This is a not-for-profit entity and the income of the Impact Centre and Mutholath Auditorium are fully utilized for the benefit of the blind-deaf trained at Good Samaritan Centre and the differently abled served at Agape Centre.
1. AGAPE CENTRE (BHAVAN)
Agape Bhavan (Centre) was inaugurated on January 2, 2006 for the training and income generation programs of the physically and mentally challenged and for the meeting and employment of self-help groups.
2. GOOD SAMARITAN CENTRE
Good Samaritan Centre was inaugurated on August 21, 2011 for the training of blind-deaf and state level training of CBR staff. It also serves as a career training center for youth.
3. MUTHOLATH AUDITORIUM
Mutholath Auditorium inaugurated on February 14, 2017 to generate income for the sustenance of the programs for the differently abled.
4. IMPACT CENTRE
Impact Centre inaugurated on December 13, 2020 as a residential
institution for the training camps in Good Samaritan Centre. It also has
air-conditioned rooms with facilities for food and transportation for
Keralites coming from abroad for few weeks. The income will also be
utilized for the CBR programs of Mutholath Nagar.
